When you first reach the Groups pages, you will see a list of groups. You can browse these groups by 'Newest', 'Popular', or 'Latest Discussion'. Or Search groups on the left.
To create a new group just click on the 'Create a new group' link.
On the Create a new group page, you can upload a group icon or image.
Name your group and provide a description. Now add a brief description, this is short description which can be the same as the group name.
Tags - Enter a few tags, these are used to others can find you group during a search and also labels your group.
Then set your privacy options for your group:
- Membership permissions - who can access your or join your group
- Enable blog - Do you want other members to be able to post blogs on the group page?
- Bookmaks - Do you want members to be able to create group bookmarks?
- Files - do you want members to be able to upload files to the groups page?
- Pages - do you want to allow member to create group pages?
- Photo - Do you want others to be able to create group photo albums?
Once done with all these options, just click on the save button and you group will have been created.
You will not see you group page and can start inviting friends to join your group.
